So what can I say, it was really good. I can be a bit of a sushi snob. So to impress me….you can’t roll some stale nori around dry rice and a fried shrimp and call it sushi. This…was not your average LI sushi place.
First, the decor is nice. The sushi bar is inviting and allows the patrons a great view of authentic sushi masters. I should not feel like I am at the diner bar…and I did not.
They have a vast variety of rolls, hand rolls and nigiri. Which is AWESOME!!! I am so tired on the LI special roll of shrimp tempura doused in spicy mayo. The fish was fresh and they had alot more than the standard choices.
Prices…well you get what you pay for. If you want a Gordon’s fish stick wrapped in rice for $5.95….this is not your place.
If you want authentic style JAPANESE sushi, with an ambience that relaxes you…not rushes…then this is your spot.
